This sales role will involve visiting clients and prospects to diagnose and monitor landscapes, as well as estimating job costs and providing quotes. You’ll set up crews, supervise work being performed, and ensure jobs are completed to clients' satisfaction, as well as obtain referrals from clients, network, and develop new business. What kind of person we’re looking for:

• Someone with a degree in Arboriculture, Urban Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Plant Pathology, Environmental Sciences, Landscape Management, Turfgrass, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience and knowledge of tree, shrub, and/or lawn
• Someone who can grow their book of business to achieve higher sales.
• Someone who can solve problems on their own
• Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills to understand and meet client needs.
• At least 2 years of experience in a green industry sales role, preferred
• A valid driver's license to reach clients in your region.

What is essential:

• Willingness to complete required trainings to obtain needed certifications and/or licenses.
• Desire to work outdoors
• Must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S.

• These physical demands described must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is subject to frequently lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds.
